The company supplies its leathers for world famous brand leather goods manufacturers.

All machines from Europe in pan help high quality leather production as well.

Pan imports raw cowskin hides, mainly from the USA, but none from those countries known to be the source of inferior hides or which use environmentally unfriendly manufacturing practices. The hides are processed in our Busan tannery, where the highly trained staff produces a wide variety of leathers, and where quality control is paramount. The chemicals used there are sourced mainly in the UK and Europe, again for environmental reasons. Pan presently produces over 15 millionn square feet of leathers per year and this is increasing annually.

Types of leather we supply are:

Crust leather: This is a semi-finished cow split leather for manufacturers/agents who wishe to go on to produce their own p. U. (polyurethane film) coated cow split leather or use the crust leather in thier own products.

Suede leather: This is a type of finish to any leather where the flesh side has been buffed to a velvet-like nap. Pan also produces a split leather suede from the split hide. It looks like'crust leather' but wheres 'crust leather' is unfinished, 'suede leather' is finished to the same velvet -like nap. It is used in the manufacture of suede shoes, bags, clothing etc.

P. U. Coated cow split leather:
In our range this is known as'action leather'.
A p. U. Coat is added to the surface of 'crust leathers' to produce economical, very hard wearing leathers. At pan they are embossed in many ways to create a wide variety of finishes and effects, in any colour(including multi-colours)chosen. This leather is ideal for manyfacturers of shoes(sports, casual, safety and boots), bags, sofas and upholstery. ' pantone' cards.
